Twitter has made my childhood dreams come true

I was sitting at work yesterday and I started wondering what Devon Sawa was up to.  As a pre-teen Devon was my number one crush.  I had his face pastered on my walls, I watched Casper and Now and Then multiple times per week, I wrote out Virginia Sawa just to see how it looked.  The last movie I remember that Devon was in was Final Destination.  He kind of fell off the face of the planet after that.  So today I decided to see if he was on Twitter, and he is my friends.  I had to tweet at him.  What would I say?  Would he respond?

I can't even handle this!  He tweeted back at me, with a smiley face and he was so sweet about it.  Clearly we are meant to be together.  Nicole suggested that his response is a marriage proposal.  I think you're right Nicole.  Better start practicing Ginny Sawa again.

Twitter is so awesome.  Making my dreams come true.

And just incase you forgot.

  1. NO WAY! God, he was such a dreamboat. I'm also honored to be inadvertently featured in your Twitter feed :)

  4. I LOVED Devon Sawa! He was so cute - my sister had a poster of him in her room that I was so jealous of. She "claimed" him first so I had to find someone else to crush on.

I'm running off to Twitter now to add him. What a sweet response from him!

  6. I love you lots. I'm just upset that I now have to compete with Sawa for your affections.

  7. Oh my god. I would have died! That scene in Casper nearly wore out the VHS tape I had, I watched it so often. (I think I should be embarrassed by this, but who cares?)

I think I'll have to wander over to Twitter now - I think I know someone else I need to follow! ;)
