What is this thing you call a #relationship ?

Perpetually single Ginny is now in a relationship.  How did this happen?

It is a bit of an adjustment.  I haven't been in a relationship in at least 2.5 years.  I'm use to doing my own thing and I like it that way.  D gives me the space I need but it's not too much space.  It's a delicate balance of couple time and just me time and so far it's been working out well.  But seriously I'm a pretty kick ass girlfriend.  You want to go to a strip club?  Fine with me as long as you spend your own money on $15.00 drinks.  D is not a strip club dude but I told him if he did go to pre-game to save money.

I remembered that I still had my POF profile up even though I haven't used it in ages.  I finally got around to deleting it and let me tell you that was a process.  It took me forever to figure out how to actually delete the thing and in the mean time I kept getting instant messages from dudes.  Leave me along I'm trying to delete myself here!

Don't worry, this is not turning into a mushy blog with couple photos and "my boyfriend is so awesome omg!" posts.  I don't want to barf reading my own blog and I don't like reading blogs like that.  Plus we all know you come here for the cat posts.

  1. Yay! Congrats on the relationship. The best part about being in one is no more awkward dates.

and i totally know how that adjustment goes. honestly, i've never really gotten the hang of it. doesn't help that i always date the guys who are like "yay, let's do EVERYTHING" together" and i have to lamely ask for a night off so i can update my blog in my sweatpants while eating nachos. haha.

  6. Yay for relationships! I'm sure you can find a good balance between cat posts and "oh, btw, this is the dude that occupies more of my cat time now" posts.

  9. I love that Shelly's first question was how Bosco is dealing with this. Typical.
