Beach day and I'm a #landshark

I had a vacation day yesterday so I grabbed Melissa and we hit the sand at Singing Beach in Manchester, Mass. I have a goal this summer and that's to get to the beach at much as possible. Tough goal right? I love the ocean even though New England water is usually freezing. I can't imagine not living a short drive away from the ocean. How do you guys do it in the mid west?

In case you've never looked at any pictures I post on my blog you should know I'm really white. Like vampire white. Melissa is pretty white too. I put on sunblock like it's my job. Melissa puts on a straw hat. We are the old ladies of the beach.

We were in the weirdest mood yesterday. I keep doing an Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter impression.

"You know what they say about my hat? It's the tops!"

Ugh I know, worst joke ever. It's a shame that all of you missed my amazing Abe Lincoln voice.

We ate some ice cream on a bench and then I saved a lady bug who was flipped upside down. Huzzah!

We spend a good part of the day being landsharks. Thank you Jenna Marbles for unleashing the landshark on the world.

A photo essay of friendship. One of us is glad that I found my old digital camera.

While searching for my newish digital camera that has been missing for months I found my old digital camera, and a few other things such as:
  • A dollar bill (I'm rich!)
  • some Omega 3 fish oil (I'm heart healthy! Or would be if I had taken it....)
  • and some Sailor Moon stickers (AWESOME!)
Anyways my old digital camera is a little worn. It has a piece of tape to keep one metal part from popping out but otherwise it still works. It's a Cannon Power Shot that I bought a few years ago and to be honest it takes better pictures than the newer Panasonic Lumix I bought (and lost).

Apparently I have a ton of old pictures on this camera. I just uploaded them and there's a total of 1023. Looks like I'm not a fan of the delete button.

I found a bunch of pictures of Melissa and I so I thought it would be fun to share a few here.  We worked together for a week 5 years ago. After she left she got my number off of the employee list and called me to see if I wanted to hang out. And the rest is history.

So I present to you, Ginny and Melissa - a photo essay of friendship.
