The 20SB bootleg winners were announced today. I didn't win for best vlogger but I didn't really expect to. There was some serious competition. Some of my nearest and dearest blogger friends did win so I'm very happy for them and for everyone else who won.
My long weekend was pretty good. Saturday I went to a small dinner party at Dave's house. His mother made a really nice dinner and we watched the Patriots beat the Broncos. Yes I'm a Pats fan readers. I grew up in New England. I don't hate Tim Tebow though. I don't get all pissed off over sports like some people do.
When I got home Sunday I just relaxed and watched some Netflix. I probably slept way more than necessary but I love naps and it's been cold so I want to hide under blankets with multiple cats.
Since I had today off I decided to go to the mall to use a gift card I got for Christmas. Ok, and also because I really wanted Chick-fil-a. There are only two locations in Massachusetts and neither are really close to Boston. Get on that Chick-fil-a. I know you have many fans here in Mass. The mall was insane. It seems everyone else decided to go to the mall on their day off too. I only bought one sweater so it was kind of a fail shopping wise BUT Chick-fil-a was eaten!
I'm not ready to go back to work tomorrow but I am ready to be an aunt! My sister-in-law Ashley is going to be induced tomorrow. Baby Hunter will be here soon. I'm going to be the crazy aunt who blogs and wears "interesting" coats.

Memorial Day and I caught a chicken.
I had a pretty fantastic long weekend. The weather in Boston was hot and humid. We skipped spring and jumped straight into summer. This is pretty typical of New England.
I went to a BBQ where I caught my first chicken. It's not easy catching a chicken. It's even harder when you're trying not to spill your margarita while chasing said chicken. In case you're wondering I caught the chicken for cuddling purposes not for eating purposes.
In conclusion I want a pet chicken. Apparently I need a farm and some way to train the cats to not attack the chickens. I also seem to have tennis elbow from too many Michael Jackson moves, or maybe chasing chickens. I'm guessing it's the dance moves.
