My current workout routine.

I did not want to get up early today to face Jillian Michaels today. I then remembered that massive cheese burger and french fries I ate for lunch yesterday so I forced myself out of bed with a little whimper. Once I get going I wake right up but the last thing on my mind when I first wake up in the morning is working out. It's been an adjustment waking up early to work out but I do like getting it over with first thing.

I thought I'd share what my routine has been since I'm not following the 30 Day Shred program exactly. You're suppose to do the 30 Day Shred every day. My body is not having that. You need a day off here and there for your muscles to recover. I try to do the Shred or Ripped in 30 every other day. I also don't follow the levels in the exact order. One day I'll do level 3 and the next work out I'll do level 1. I like to mix it up so I don't get bored. You'll also notice that I'm doing both the 30 Day Shred and Ripped in 30. They are similar in style, and both by Jillian Michaels, but the workouts are different enough that I think it's worth having both. I find Ripped in 30 a bit harder. I've been doing this since the end of December and I'm not bored yet. Once the weather is warmer I'll add some more walking/running outside. I've noticed the most difference in my arms. I'm still having trouble with regular push ups. Something I need to work on.

The River premieres tonight. I'm pretty excited about this show. I like scary with mystery not so much blood and gore. I'm probably going to have a hard time going to sleep after watching this show. Why do I do this to myself? I love being scared. Until it's time for bed...

Off to work with my low sugar oatmeal for breakfast. Very exciting stuff

Gift remorse and fertility socks, whatever those are.

So my mom and her boyfriend got me a really nice Coach bag for Christmas.

If I knew they were getting me a nice bag I would have got them something extra. Not that I got them crap but still! I know this bag was at least a few hundred dollars, even though my mother told me that she got money off for putting it on lay away for two months or something like that. Now I know why she couldn't wait for me to open it. For two months she's been talking about the awesome present she got me.

I got them each a gift and then a gift card to the 99 for both of them. They love the 99. I love the 99! So I suppose it all worked out but I still wish I had added a bit more to the gift card.

I discovered that my cousin's son loves Star Wars. Is it weird that I get excited that younger generations still love Star Wars? He was telling me about all the Star Wars stuff he got for Christmas and the Lego Death Star that he wants. A true nerd in the making.

I left my mom's and Tony's with gifts and massive amounts of food. I can hear Jillian Michael's yelling at me for the amount of food I ate. I've been doing her Ripped in 30 dvd and after two days I need a break. Just one day off so my body will stop hurting so much. Just calm it down Jillian! I need this ham and left over Chinese Food! I worked out on Christmas Day so don't even start!

I drove all the way from Milford to Brockton to visit Ashley Christmas Day night. I had some beer and we played charades which was fun until I got "fertility socks" and "butt plug". Can you tell these were hand written? What the heck are fertility socks? Thank God they got butt plug in two seconds because who wants to keep acting that out.

p.s. Can I tell you how awesome it is to have this web cam on my laptop? So much easier to take pictures of my pale self.
