The craft store is a dangerous place

I need a sponsor or supervisor when I'm in a craft store. I just can't control myself. I see a massive amount of glitter and I want to buy the glitter ALL THE GLITTER but I have no reason for massive amounts of glitter. I just want it. I start wandering around the scrap book section thinking that will distract me from the glitter. I see some wine bottle stickers. I want them and I don't scrap book. Back away from the stickers girl.

I start trying to think up projects that maybe I could use glitter and wine stickers for but none of them make any sense. I made it out of the store without the glitter and wine stickers but I did purchase a rubber duck dressed as a mummy because I definitely really needed it.

So yea, if anyone has a good idea for a ton of glitter, please let me know. I keep thinking about all the glitter just sitting in the craft store.

Crap, I just googled "glitter projects". I need help.

I'm here. Sort of.

I woke up this morning with a horrendous hangover. There was involuntary moaning involved and trying to decide if laying down or sitting up would make the room stop spinning. Melissa was in the same boat. We texted each other complaining about how awful we felt.

It all started with my work holiday party. I had some wine and was feeling good. We got to leave the office early so a couple of us decided to stop by Whiskeys for a few drinks. I got home around 6 and headed back out to meet up with Dave to celebrate him being done with finals. I switched from beer to gin and tonics. Bad idea. Dave had to catch the T back since he had to work in the morning. I met up with Melissa at the Tavern on my way home. I didn't have anything to drink at the Tavern. I walked in, found Melissa and we left to go back to her house for Chinese food. The food did not help. I woke up feeling like death. I took the day off so I could do some Christmas shopping and instead I laid in bed and watched American Horror Story and wished someone would bring me ginger ale.

I'm going out to dinner for my cousin Alexis' 25th birthday tonight and I'm going to be drinking non alcoholic beverages. I even painted my nails with my new glitter polish. At least I did something today.

Last night at Club Hell

Last night at Club Hell. Literally the last night as it's closing. People come from all over to go to Hell because there is really no other place like it in the area.

Rumor has it that they may possibly open up again in a new location but I'm not getting my hopes up.

Dave got his hair cut and it looks so good! I told him about a hundred times.

Dave's friend CJ had the best glitter shorts. He told me that Dave talks about me all the time at work. I was skeptical but he must because CJ knew quite a bit about me.

The rain would not let up last night. I fell asleep on the way back. I crawled into bed at 4 a.m. I'm surprisingly ok for 3 hours of sleep. I did not partake in large quantities of alcohol last night so I'm not hungover. *High fives self*

In case you're wondering. I did not partake in any whipping. (see first picture of two random ladies).

Brain is scrambled.  Halp!

Rogue sparkle

I woke up to a bed full of glitter.  I suppose this is what happens when you let the lead singer of an all male Lady Ga Ga cover band spray your head with glitter or if you're Ke$ha.  I think most of it came out in the shower but I'm still finding a rogue sparkle.

Speaking of the cover band, Alejandro and the Fame - they were pretty fantastic.  They are a local band so I'll now be stalking them and requesting more glitter for my hair.

In actual news news - Whitey Bulger was captured near Los Angeles after being on the run for 16 years.  I mentioned this to Nugs on the train this morning and she was all "who?"  I suppose he's not as well known outside of Boston.  The Departed was supposedly inspired by him.

I had a lovely little (or not so little) surprise this morning from some very special bloggers but I think I need to thank them in their own post because it was very thoughtful.  I'm so lucky to have my internet BFFs.
