Somehow a handkercheif is going to help my find my digial camera.

Man I had a fantastic long weekend and it's not even done yet folks.  I refuse to snap out of long weekend mode until Tuesday morning.

I went to a co-workers wedding this weekend and you know what?  Weddings are a lot of freaking work!  I was just a guest at this wedding but just seeing all the little things that make a wedding come together.  It's stressful just thinking about it.  Good news though, I am so very far away from being engaged so that stress will not be happening any time soon.

I visited my mom and her boyfriend Tony.  I told them about my missing digital camera.  At this point even Nancy Drew couldn't solve this mystery.  Tony suggested an old Italian trick for finding lost items which is to tie a handkerchief on a doorknob and then your lost item will be found the next day.  I don't own a handkerchief so we'll see if a scarf will work.  Dude, I'm desperate here.  Tony also made me lunch to bring home with me.  I'm not sure why but he insisted and I'm not one to turn down a turkey sandwich and oatmeal cookies.

I got to meet up with some lovely bloggers this weekend.  @JenFriel @NicoleMarieSays @JoannaB are all awesome ladies and we had a great time chatting over drinks in Cambridge.  You can read Jen's post about it here

Today's Jerry Springer topic - The Recession Made Me Cheat.  I agree wholeheartedly with blaming anything on the recession.

The Chicken Dance is a classic.

Whenever I drive to Dave's house my GPS takes me this horrible way that takes forever and makes me want to stab something.  I still have to use the GPS because there's so many turns on random streets I don't think I'll ever remember it on my own.  Dave asked me how my GPS takes me and confirmed that my GPS is taking me the "scenic route".  He told me a much better way to go.  My drive to Dave's should now be mostly stab free.

Fact.  I got to rip open a button down shirt last night.  I've always wanted to do that.

Dave had never heard of the Chicken Dance.  I of course demonstrated for him in the mall.  I then found a card in the Hallmark Store that played the Chicken Dance and got to do the demonstration again with music.  Dating me is fun.

I have a wedding to go to tomorrow where I will be wearing a very Helena Bonham Carter dress (there is velvet!) and then I'm going to continue long weekend shenanigans, after I visit my mom of course.

Speaking of weddings, the lovely, funny, pajama jeans and snuggie wearing Sara is getting married today!  Congrats Sara and Andy!  I wish I could have been there.  I also wish my mailman didn't send back my invitation.  He knows what apartment I'm in.

We're falling apart to halftime

I've reaturned from the mysterious town of Swansea.  I say mysterious because quite a few of us had to google Swansea to find out where it is.  Jesse and Kristina's wedding was a raging good time.  There was tons of food, drinking and dancing.  It was disgustingly hot but that didn't slow us down.

My dress which I got on sale at Banana for $39.00.

Docks and high heels do not mix.  Docks and beer do.

Darryl actually making a normal face in a picture.  Good job D-Man.

This would be me being classy laughing about something on the floor in the hall of the hotel.

There are more pictures on my Tumblr if you're interested.  I wish I had gotten some pictures of the dancing but I was too busy dancing to remember.  Back at the hotel we had a little after party.  I feel asleep after watching the end of Dinner for Shmucks and laughing hysterically at Steve Carell.

Vincent Van Gogh. Everyone said to him, "You can't be a great painter, you only have one ear." And you know what he said? "I can't hear you."

Sunday we had brunch before heading back to Boston.  I was so tired but had plans to see Rihanna in concert with Carly.  I took a very short nap, showered and headed out to the show.  I knew more songs than I thought I would.  Not a bad show but not the best I've seen.

I got to bed around 1:30 a.m.  Gross.  I am dragging today and I can't wait to get home and go to bed early.  The weekend just flew by!
