Legs meet sun

I hope you all had a fun St. Patrick's Day. I kept it low key and went out to a local bar that was not charging a cover and I woke up hangover free. A guy that my friend knew was pretty relentless in his pursuit of me. I told him that I had a boyfriend which lead to him telling me how he would ask for my number if I was single and that I was still pretty. He was also getting annoyed anytime a guy would talk to me. Dude, you are not my boyfriend so you don't have permission to be jealous and I'm a social person who likes to talk to people. The best conversation of the night was actually with a married guy who is in the navy and stationed in Hawaii.

I went to visit my grandmother Saturday and Sunday. She is improving every day and thank you to everyone for your well wishes on my blog, facebook and twitter. I really appreciate it. My grandmother is one tough lady and I can tell that she's trying her best. She's able to move her right leg now where she couldn't before. She's also trying to talk and is making more sounds. Today they will see how well she can swallow and if she can swallow they will move her to rehab. I'm very hopeful about her recovery. Before her stroke she was very healthy for a person in their 80s and I think that will help.

The weather yesterday was amazing so I tried to spend a good part of the day outside. My pasty legs finally saw the sun. I'm sorry if I blinded anyone but I had to take advantage of this unusually warm weather and wear a dress. I realized that I am sorely lacking in spring shoe wear. I have boots and flip flops but nothing in between. I have worn my flats out to the point where they look like I found them on the street.

This streak of warm weather is putting me in a seriously good mood. I kind of want to skip down the street blinding people with my whiteness.

  6. Dude, eff that m'fer in the bar. How can a controlling asshole red flag get any bigger and redder? BY GETTING ALL OWNERSHIPPY ON A GIRL YOU HARDLY KNOW WHO HAS A BOYFRIEND.

I'm glad to hear that your grandmother is recovering well! My grandmother had a fall last year and was in and out of the hospital.
Now she's in a nursing home, but she's back to being her pistol-whipping, fiery self. Your grandmother will make an awesome recovery. Sending good thoughts your way!
