Seriously cats just stop.

I have not had a good nights sleep in three days.  This is all the cats' fault.  I fall asleep and next thing I know they're rolling around on my bed playing or fighting, I'm not quite sure which.  I then get woken up at 5 a.m. because now, now is a good time to annoy me for food.  If I don't get up  Mr. Binx starts licking me and Bosco sits on the floor and meows.  This makes for some strange dreams.  The last step in annoying the crap out of Ginny until she gets up is kitty wrestling.  At this point I can't sleep so I start yelling "SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT UP!!!!!!!"  They just ignore me until I actually get out of bed and they sprint to the food dish.

My neighbors are probably like what the hell is happening in there?!  You don't even wanna know neighbors.

If this is what having kids is like I'm not ready.  Although I don't think you can just throw food in a dish to feed a kid nor do I think you would wake up with your child licking you.

Of course when I wake up around 7 a.m. they are tuckered out and need a nap.  Great.  Glad two of us get to sleep.

  1. Haha my dogs used to do this to me! They decided the middle of the night was a great time to get hyper and play and they were always licking me to wake me up so I could take them out and feed them around 5 a.m.!

  2. What little turds! My dog does the same thing, so I get up and let her outside and then the chickens see me and start making noises so then I have to feed them and let them out of the coop and by that time I am too awake to fall back asleep.

  3. Ugh, this is why, despite moving to a pet-friendly place, I haven't gotten the dog I thought I wanted....by the time I walked it, I'd never get back to sleep, and they are dependent on you forever, unlike real kids who potty train!
