Look what I got in the mail and help me with my postcard wall

I love opening my mail box and having fun mail. Letters, post cards, packages are all fun mail. Bills and promotional fliers are not fun mail.

Liz has a great blog and super cute etsy shop. She recently posted about how to make a fabric necklace and offered to give away the two she made to her readers. I just happened to be one of those readers.

I love this fabric because it reminds me of the curtains Maria used to make the children play clothes in the Sound of Music. Now I just need to climb some trees and fall out of a canoe.

This second necklace was an extra surprise. It's an actual twig painted gold. I absolutely love it!

I've been really into wearing necklaces lately. I don't wear much jewelery in general but I feel like the right necklace can really make an outfit.

I seem to be in a crafty mood this weekend. I decided to start hanging up postcards I've gotten from people on my wall.  So far I have postcards from France, London and New Orleans (all from bloggers). I want to cover the whole area above my bed.

If you want to send me a postcard in the mail I'd be really grateful and I'll even send one back to you! It's like the olden days when people actually sent real mail. If you're interested e-mail me at ginnyissassy@gmail.com or leave a comment and I'll send you my address. My only request is that it's a postcard of a place so I can keep with the theme.

I'm overly excited about my postcard wall.
