A run in

I can't sleep because I slept too much yesterday. Rough life, I know. I figured I would tell you a bit about my weekend.

AC is in! Of course now that I actually have AC we're going to have cooler temperatures this week. I'm at least prepared now for when it gets really hot out again.

Derek and I went and saw Ted at the Somerville theater which also happened to be the theater in the movie that Mark Whalberg and Ted were waiting in line dressed as Star Wars characters. The Quincy line had the whole theater cracking up but you probably wouldn't find that line very funny unless you're from Boston.

On the way out of theater we ran into an ex-boyfriend of mine. We're facebook friends but not friend friends. We never hang out but I'll say hi if I see you on the street.

We ended the night at PJ Ryans where I had one too many gin and tonics and woke up with a little bit of a head ache. Ooof. We slept in until 12:30 hence why I awake now at 5 a.m.

Back to work today with no vacation in sight. I need to take some time off in August because I don't like this working 5 days a week all the time thing.

I should probably not write blog posts at 5 a.m. because they come out like this.

  1. Well this is a good post but I don't know if there's really a difference between this and regular posts. I hope you enjoyed the movie, and that seeing your ex wasn't too awkward. Though that seems unlikely.

    1. It was awkward for me. Just unexpected. The movie was pretty good.

  2. I am lucky that none of my exes live in Knoxville anymore. I never have to have awkward run-ins with them.

  4. Ok, so realtalk: is Ted actually good? I hear people say it is, but I can't get past the trailer. Really. But I remember this one time when everyone was telling me that my ex boyfriend was a douchebag and I didn't believe them but it turned out that they were right all along. And I think Ted might be like that.
