I lost it.
Yep, I lost my mother's engagement ring. I put it somewhere "safe" and then couldn't remember where "safe" was. My mother found it when we were clearing out my car so it could get taken away to car heaven.
My guess is it ended up in my car from when I moved two years ago. This is why I can't have nice things.
My mother wasn't mad at me (she should have been). She told me I should sell it and put the money towards a new car. I told her to get out of here. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it yet but selling it is not an option.
I knew I had a bunch of camping gear and a cake decorating kit but I wasn't expecting this.
That's pretty awesome you found it in your car like that. You should be saving it to use as your own engagement ring one day.
ReplyDeleteThat's incredible for two reasons: a) that you found the ring after it had been presumed lost to the ages and b) that you are still alive because you apparently have the most relaxed and forgiving mother on the entire planet.
